Bar-Am Silvia



Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1955, into a family of painters and musicians.Now a long established resident of Jerusalem’s Jewish quarter of the Old City, where she lives with her husband and four children.

Artistic training:

Helena Rubinstein Museum, Tel Aviv
Avni Institute of Art, Tel Aviv
Studied with artist Israel Hershberg, Jerusalem

Exhibitions:

Bar-Am has shown her works in numerous exhibitions, one man exhibitions as well as group exhibitions, in Israel and abroad. Foremost among the one woman shows have been at the Nora Gallery, the Municipal Gallery and the Artists House in Jerusalem. Bar-Am has participated in noteworthy group exhibitions in Uruguay, Japan, Switzerland, Cyprus, Greece and throughout Israel. In addition, Bar-Am’s works are part of private collections in Europe, and North and South America as well as in Israel.
