El-Kayam David
David El-Kayam was born in “Yemin Moshe”, a 7th generation in Jerusalem. From childhood and till this day, he loves the nature life and the proximity to animal. His inspiration comes from the Jewish spiritual and mystical world, as well as from the world of nature, where he lived all of his life.
David is an autodidactic artist. In the year 1999 he received a diploma from the association of Painters & Sculptures of Jerusalem and a diploma for being an international specialist from the international association of art in Israel.
Field of Specialization
David El-Kayam is the only artist in Israel who uses the special technique of painting on the opposite side of glass, a very long and difficult procedure.
