A graduate of the Bezalel Art Academy,  Jerusalem, 1981.

Continuing education at the Academy of Fine Arts Brera, Milan, Italy, 1987,1989.

Academic Management and Pedagogic Studies at “Mofet” Institute for Research and Development, Tel Aviv, 2008 – 2009.

Instructor at Bezalel Art Academy, Jerusalem – Department of Jewelry Art 1984-1986.

Educator and sculpture instructor at Kaye Academic College of Education, Beer Sheva. Academic staff member since 1996. 

Curator of twenty solo and group exhibitions in galleries and public spaces in Israel and abroad, including the series “Layers” at the Artists House, Jerusalem from 1992 to 2014, the travelling exhibitions for several official organizations in Israel including the Israel Ministry of education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A member of The Israel Art and Culture National Council – Visual Arts Department, 1992-1999.

Chairman of the Jerusalem Artists Association, 1995-2002.

Representative of Israel Artists Association to The International Conference of IAA, Beijing, China, 2005.

Staff member in the Holocaust’s Legacy Education Workshop in “Mofet”  Institute, Tel Aviv.


Initiator and producer of interactive seminars series for Holocaust Studies at The Academia of Special Education in Warsaw, Poland since 2012.

Participated as exhibiting artist in the art festivals TINA B in Prague, The Czech Republic, and DRAP-ART in Barcelona, Spain, and represented Israel in Biennales in Sao Paulo Brazil and Shanghai China.

Exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums in Israel and abroad. Among them Italy, Sweden, United States, Japan, China, Korea, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus and Poland.

Created 15 large murals and outdoor sculptures in public places in Israel.

Won numerous awards, grants and scholarships to study in Israel and Italy.

Recently awarded the Distinguished Zionist Creation Award from the Israel Ministry of Culture.

Initiated and produced collaborative art and social projects in Israel and abroad with the goal bringing together people of diverse / opposite background (religious and secular, Jewish and Arab, Israeli and Palestinian). Projects are active since 1985.

Initiated and promoted art activities for the youth in Bedouins communities throughout the Negev region of Israel.
